Day 5

Scripture to Read: 1 Corinthians 2:10

Through His grace and mercy, God has revealed, and continues to reveal, the fullness of Himself and His Truth to everyone who has surrendered to Christ as Lord and Savior. God had Paul remind the believers in Corinth of this fact, as we read in 1 Corinthians 2:10, “For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.” Because of God’s everlasting love, through His Holy Spirit and His Word, He continually reveals to His children all He desires us to know about Him and who we are in and through Him. God the Holy Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s mysteries through His Word. We have an incredible advantage today because we have the full revelation from God, all He desires us to know through His Word. When we choose not to open God’s Word and read, study, and memorize it, we are casting aside one of the richest resources God has ever provided to mankind. We have no excuse for not pursuing God’s Word, for through His Holy Spirit, we are able to learn, grow, and be nourished so that we are strong in our walk with our Lord. God does not want us to remain spiritually immature, but He wants us to thrive as His children. God reminds us in 1 Peter 2:2, “like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation.” We must choose to hunger for His Word; when we do, we’ll grow, guaranteed.

This mystery was God the Father’s plan to send our Lord Jesus Christ to earth to live a p...

Day 6

God has given us His Holy Spirit to know all God the Father desires us to know. God had Paul write it this way in 1 Corinthians 2:11–13, “For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the ...

God had Paul write this in 1 Corinthians 2:14–16, “But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 15 But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. 16 For who has known the mind of t...
